Narrative

The door; it represents a passage, a gateway, a portal . And the title is perfectly matching with my genre and the story  The story of my film consists of 2 same persons but from different universes . One came from the parallel universe with such information which can save both of the worlds . But as he has already tried doing it , now he wants his other self to do it .

Research For Film Opening

For my film opening , im trying to make my budget as low as possible as im a student and im doing this project alone , so ill be making this project under the budget of what my pocket money allows. For this purpose i had to grab as many free film resources from the internet as much as i could . some of the props were DIY to not to increase the film budget .

STORY BOARD

My film opening lies under the genre of sci-fi (alternative/parallel universe) .   I had an interest in sci-fi movies from time i started watching films .  The art of story telling is something that i want to ace and for that im trying to achieve a way where i can tell my story through the visuals rather than saying it .

Depth of Field / Bookeh Effect

One of the key new highlights of Apple's most recent iPhones is the capacity to change the 'bokeh impact' on picture pictures, after they've been taken. Be that as it may, just as allowing you to change the power of the impact, the capacity has been improved to all the more precisely address the bokeh qualities of a genuine focal point, as opposed to simply attempting to obscure the foundation.  Each time you shoot a picture utilizing the 52mm-comparable F2.4 representation camera on the iPhone Xs you have the decision of altering the bokeh impact. This raises a scale set apart in F-numbers. This may seem like Apple simply getting an interface from this present reality (an interaction called skeuomorphism), however it goes past this: the organization says it's demonstrated the bokeh qualities to imitate the conduct of a Zeiss focal point.

Low Light Montage

I pushed my iPhone camera to its max by shooting at low light with an higher ISO . i am quite satisfied with the results with such a small sized sensor .  Still the footage is so grainy . i tried to cure that in the post but as i shot the video on a higher ISO , there was no room left for me to cure the footage in the post. The client didnt have any problem with the grains at all and they focused on the composition , editing and shots more

Football Training Video

Explored different settings of gimbal in this video . Tried to capture golden hour for the aesthetics

Gimbal Unboxing Montage

This whole montage was shot handheld and edited on premiere pro few weeks ago. This was an rough draft for me but i felt like posting it here to show my progression over the past.

Football Match Montage

This was my first time using a gimbal\stabilizer with an iPhone, the results were quite  satisfying   Working with this football team as their videographer , gave me a lot of exposure on the field . My clients were fully satisfied with my work whereas this gave me an chance to learn different techniques of filmmaking  I did some speed-ramps in the editing which gave the video a hyped look and the music was sync with the shots  The Vertigo Effect is something that i tried for the first time for any project . and the shot cam out to be so perfect for the montage

PRACTICE [CAMERA SHOTS]

A  medium   shot , also called a mid- shot  or waist  shot , is a type of camera  shot  in  film  and television that shows an actor approximately from the waist up. A  medium   shot  is  used  to emphasize both the actor and their surroundings by giving them an equal presence on screen CLOSEUP SHOT ; mostly used to show emotions or convey some info by facial expressions or emotions  The long shot, also known as the wide shot, is often times used as an establishing shot in a film, as it normally sets the scene and the character’s place within it. This type of camera shot, shows the full length of the subject while also including a large amount of the surrounding area of the film setting.
